What is Walk For Tomorrow?...
In September 2009 (15th-24th) Lord Bates will embark on a 100 mile sponsored walk from Holy Island to Durham Cathedral. The walk will raise funds for Tomorrow's People a specialist charity helping young people find work. Over the past year youth unemployment in the north East has risen by 100.4%, it is an urgent situation requiring an urgent response. The route of the walk has been chosen in order to showcase the incredible natural beauty and rich cultural heritage of the region.
